The Purpose of the Conference

Cooperation between students, lecturers and business representatives through carrying applied research and participating in discussions on management, economics, law, communication and information as well as other issues essential for the academic community.

Note: When submitting a research paper, authors must send a Warranty of Authorship. It is required to guarantee that the paper contains original research data, and its content as well as authorship are agreed by all co-authors.

Information for participants

Participants must register to make presentations at the conference and submit the presentation to the conference organizers by the due date. Presentation time is up to 10 minutes. Presentation languages are Lithuanian or English. Presenters will receive certificates, and the best will be awarded.

All submitted manuscripts, that meet the requirements, will be reviewed and published in online Conference Proceedings (ISSN: 2538-7669).

Speakers

Ilja Laurs

Entrepreneur, investor, futurist, and public figure. Currently, Ilja leads the investment group Nextury Ventures, whose funds invest in high-tech companies from startups to billion-dollar global corporations. For his professional achievements, Ilja has received numerous awards, including “European Manager of the Year” (European Business Press Association), “10 Founders Changing the World” (TIME magazine), “25 European Tech Leaders” (Wall Street Journal), and “20 Brightest Baltic Entrepreneurs” (Baltic Business Forum) and other.

Rugilė Matusevičiūtė

Climate and environmental journalist, member of the Oxford University climate journalism program, ambassador of the European Union’s climate pact. Rugilė has created more than 200 episodes on sustainability and environmental topics and currently hosts the show “Ministry of Sustainability” on Žinių Radio.

João Paulo Ferreira de Magalhães

Professor and researcher at ESTG – Porto Polytechnic, and the director of the Licenciatura in Computer and Networks Security at ESTG. He is currently vice-president at the school, responsible for innovation and digital transformation. He was a member of the Multinational Cyber Defense Education and Training Project (MNCD E&T) NATO Smart Defense Project and contributed to the development of academic curricula for postgraduate courses inncyber-defense.
